My Memories
When I was younger, I was an outgoing child.
I wasn’t afraid to go out of my little box I made for myself.
I'm 18 now.
I still have my little box that I made myself,
But that little box never opens again.
When I was younger, I spent a lot of time with my sister.
Some people called us twins, always by each other.
I’m 18 now.
I don’t see my sister that much anymore.
Moved to college, in a different state.
When I was younger, I was an active child.
Always doing something. Sports and playing with other kids.
I’m 18 now.
I don’t get out much anymore.
Always at school or at work.
When I was younger, I had a group of friends.
We were friends for a long time.
I’m 18 now. I don’t have those friends anymore.
I made new friends.
But it is not the same.
People say growing will be fine.
But I don’t want to grow up anymore.
