It Would Never Happen to Me
Death is a playing card
You’ll never know which one you’ll pull
Or which body will drop
Numbers being drawn
Days passing on
Swear on a life not knowing the possibilities Betting it all on seven to extinct the trees Flipping the card to disappointment
Carrying the burdens of those who once lived Cards hold status
Like people with a few more minutes
Only one card to win
Only one life to live
So many different games to play
So many paths to take
One lucky number to win
To end the day day so many bodies to check in No one is safe
Keep loved ones close
You could be the one it chose
Death is approaching the coast
