Things I didn't know I liked

I never knew I liked
The smell of dew
At the early hours of the morning
Or the twinkling stars
That light up the night sky
I never knew I liked
Making my bed
Until it made me feel productive
Or putting down electronics
Until it made me focus on the simpler things
I never knew I liked
Asparagus
Till grandma made me try it on Christmas
Or cooking for myself
Until it made me feel accomplished
I guess I didn’t know
I like a lot of things
I
Do
Know
Now

I was glad I got the opportunity to choose any time of poem style for this. This poem is about how I was first unsure about some of these ideas, but soon began to love the things I didn't know I liked. Although this poem highlights my interets, hobbies, and things I like; it also highlights the progress I've made with some of these ideas like on lines 9 and 10.
