I left school and got into the car, it was gloomy

outside. I realized I needed

to go to the store. While I was on my way

I received four texts, my mom, sister and friend needed

some items from the store as well.

They were not grateful

for my act of kindness,

rather they were depending

on me all day to get what they needed.

My items were on the bottom

of the cart. I very graciously

picked out all that they needed

In the aisle and placed in on top

of my shopping cart. The cart was carrying too much weight

I thought the wheels might break.

Pushing the shopping cart up to the register

was a difficult task.

I felt as though the shopping cart was too heavy

to keep moving forward

down the aisle. To remove some of the weight,

I took the water I bought myself out of the cart.

My phone rang  and my friend

needed some coffee from the store

I took out another one of my

items to replace it with theirs.

Placing all of the items onto the belt, I realized

that I did not have enough money.

I put everything on the top

of the shopping cart onto the belt first.

the total was displayed

on the screen. I spent my entire

paycheck on my trip to the store,

although I did not have enough.

The only things left in the cart were the items I needed.

The following day, my friend went to the store.

I asked her to buy me one of the items I needed

 her cart was too heavy.

I asked my sister to buy me one of the items I needed:

ther cart was too heavy.

I wish I knew that my cart was too heavy

before I got everyone what they needed.
