The Sky

Sometimes the sky is orange
And bright
With fluffy, white clouds.
The warmth brings me comfort, excitement, laughter
To share with others.
Sometimes the sky is black.
It is quiet, lonely and cold.
It is easy to get lost when all you see is the darkness...
But the stars can guide you.
While yes, I can promise you the sun will always come back,
You can find beauty in the sparkles of the night.

I think the sky is beautiful, and we should spend more time looking and appreciating it. This poem is both dedicated to the sky, but also the difficulties of life; the times when we feel like giving up.
