I miss the days where I was given a chance

I miss the time where she never knew me

I miss the days where my thoughts were romance

I miss the way I used to be.

I miss the happy records that spun

I miss getting high without the need

I miss when drinking was for fun

I miss the way I used to be.

I miss the memories that escape my head

I miss the nights where I could sleep

I miss the dreams that leave my bed

I miss the way I used to be.

I miss my friends,

I miss my father,

I miss my mother’s unborn daughter;

And I miss the way I used to be.
