Sing a lullaby that kills me softly,
Mouse on a trap puts me down quietly.
Lamb leaps over that vicious fence costly.

I cannot stand you speak so awfully,
Blood tingles from omnipresent visions;
Sing a lullaby that kills me softly.

Just before sundown, falcon hunts ospreys,
Groans from the throats, pumps from aortas,
death.
Lamb leaps over that vicious fence costly.

Nonsensical expressions used waffly,
Inapt, inept, O ark mellow the flood!
Sing a lullaby that kills me softly.

How much to be departed would cost me?
Danger falls asleep when mind pass slowly,
Lamb leaps over that vicious fence costly.

“Have pity, Thou, who all men’s pains dost
see.”
A pipe dream—there I pray you merely to
Sing a lullaby that kills me softly,
Lamb leaps over that vicious fence costly.
