I am older today, not much, but some.
This day of birth of mine has finally come.
Yet why do I feel nothing but sadness and regret?
And when I open gifts I am no longer excited to see just what I get?
The age of teens is one that ruins so many things.
Innocence, creativity, and your love for plastic rings.
Should this feeling stay forever I feel I may just grieve.
