My Name
It all started with my Mom and Dad brainstorming names before I was born. They had already had my sister for 6 years. They wanted a boy but they were still brainstorming names for girls just in case.
When my older sister was born, my parents did not know she was a girl. So they had Tyler as an option in case she was a boy. Actually two names. Hunter and Tyler. Leaning more towards Tyler. My mom really liked that name at the time.
When I was born, my dad was standing next to my mom in the hospital room. After almost 30 hours of labor, my dad saw me and said “That’s a Hunter”. And that is how I got my name.
As a little kid, I always thought about changing my name. I just thought it was weird. I got made fun of for it. But As I grew up I started to actually really like my name. I see all these people with these basic names such as Brayden, Jack, Jake, Will, Ryan, and John. It makes me like my name even more.
To this day I no longer even think about changing my name. I think it really fits me as a person and I could not see myself with any other name. I love my name and I meet some really awesome people with the same name. Which makes me love it even more.
