trapped in a bottle

why do I feel like my feet are sinking
and that I am being swallowed by my emotions
and feel like a glass sand timer that keeps
being flipped over with not enough time to fix it
why do I feel like the air is getting thick and I begin to feel like I can not breath
why do I feel like I'm spinning in circles over and over again
but this girl in fact was not she was a plastic doll
being placed in a sand timer
being suffocated by sand over and over
until the child pulled her out of the sand
