waves

When the waves rise, they come to a crash

Then crescent moon falls, and the shoebird sets upon

Walking along the burnt yellow moist sand

The town's man strolls toward the village

And when the waves rise, they come to a crash.

The calm blanket of darkness falls upon roofs and walls: But the waves, the waves of darkness calls out

The little tides, with their gentle kisses

Erase any traces of travelers in the sand,

And the waves rise, they come to a crash

The dawn of morning awakens; the stallions in their homes, rustle and bang on the walls as their owner calls, daylight returns, but nevertheless

Above the hill comes the townsman back to the moist sand, And when the waves rise, they come to a crash.

this poem i really liked because i enjoy the beach even though that is not the meaning of this but that was how i got my inspiration for the poem.
