The Limit to Time:
The Limit to Time:
Its funny how one minute, becomes two
A brand new day, a redo of you.
How daddy I’ll be down in one second, will feel like a lifetime.
The unknowable boundary, the limit to crime.
In blink of an eye, a black to slate blue sky,
A little girl watches and heartbreakingly cries.
It’s the difference between the hour and the minute hand,
A faraway place or a fairytale land.
Oh how I dream of such freedom,
To not be constricted by the existence of tick tick tick.
I don’t make empty promises knowing these could fail,
I make promises for such darkness a vail.
You’re not grounded, so how could you understand,
That not knowing is worth risking the upper hand.
And this painstaking ride with ups and downs,
Will help you learn but like your past you will burn.
And I promise you this
That fiery flames lay amidst,
But you will extinguish them,
And eventually decide to try once again.
So I leave by asking is life anything more than
A rollercoaster journey where you click send
or choose willingly your destined end.
