What they cant see
Pearl's. Glossy. Milky. Brown. Blue. The Pearls, they endear a stare. Indifference being their general study. Apathetic and tranquil. The Pearl's speak to themselves, seeking only what they wish to find. Nothing more, nothing less. They're blind. They could never see. Not dread. Not sorrow. Not the oceans that build up in others. Shaking bones. Chattering teeth. Not even the spill of blood. But maybe it's on me. Never able to speak. A figure in stone. They could see the rock. And even though the cracks were cosmic, the Pearl's were ignorant. A chip here. A chip there. Nearly falling apart. Yet, nothing. A mound of pieces now lay on the ground. And still, the Pearl's wrinkle, cheeks lift and lips compel revealing white teeth.

I never got any attention from anyone, especially not when I was at my lowest. At school, teachers never gave me a second glance. I wouldn't even try to hide the fact I was having a hard time, yet they could never see. Anyway, now I actually have a friend so it's not as important for me to get that kind of attention. Though sometimes I do desperately need and want it...yeah.
