SAD
Sitting admits the snow fall at the edge of the frozen pond
staring at the moon
You can see his breath creating clouds in the cold air
Wondering what went wrong
A single Teardrop descends down his check
Blinded by his sadness, he doesn’t notice the abundance of
joyous couples walking the path around him
They wonder what he’s doing but don’t approach
He is reminiscing of the past
When He too would walk the same path with his girlfriend
But without her he is all alone in the winter night
Watching the snowfall on the edge of the frozen pond
He wants to be cheerful not depressed
