FALL
As I sit down and watch
The trees slowly notice me one by one
They start showing off their newly colored leaves
These leaves are falling everywhere like they are throwing fastballs at the ground.
As the wind pushes the trees back and forth
They start waving hello to me
The sounds of all the leaves make a great wave of noise.
This calming noise fills up the air
And it is so calm that you could fall asleep to it.
Far in the distance I can hear the cars on woodward driving along
Lawn mowers purring as people get their lawn ready for winter.
I see squirrels having marathons up and down trees,
As I get up to leave
The trees wave a final goodbye.
