Juvenile spirits and sparkly eyes rain,
fading smiles, bruises pale and red.
You knocked my door and I hid my pain.

When you walk past my heart’s lane,
musings meander at your explicit gaze,
but Juvenile spirits and sparkly eyes rain,

Because you hurt me brutally, unwisely again.
I spend my days locked up in my head,
then you knocked my door and I hid my pain.

You whimsically disappear, but your words remain,
your pretty smile is sharper, finer than a blade.
But juvenile spirits and sparkly eyes rain.

You call me ugly, stupid and insane,
I cry harsh and lose my breath,
then you knock my door and I hid my pain.

I can sense your departure, still I loath to gain
your smiles and whispers, but I’m cyclically betrayed.
Juvenile spirits and sparkly eyes rain,
when you knock my door I hide my pain.

The author's comments:

The poem talks about a female Adolescent's relationship which lasts with a sickening feeling hidden-ness. The boy is ignorant and the girl is insecure. She is so tired of being ditched or heartbroken again, that she numbs herself from telling him the truth of her life.
