Camera Lens
He had traveled around the world, taking pictures everywhere he went. It didn't matter where he would take out his camera and take pictures, the man saw this as” happiness.” But even while he was in japan, in india, in peru, he watched it through his camera lens, never removing the lens. It wasn't until he stumbled upon an old man who asked him a befuddling picture, “What did you just see?” “Well i just saw a riv-” “No not what exactly did you just see, but what did it feel like to see?” The photographer sat there in bewilderment, not being able to answer his question, the old man walked away. The man ran back to the glistening river that he had just taken portraits of, he put his camera down. Standing up straight, and letting the breeze that had picked up the top layer of water touch him, it made him wet but he didnt care. The beautiful light glisend off the water, hitting his eyes. He looked slightly to his right, a place that would normally be blocked by the edge of the lens, a small white rabbit hopping in the grass, he felt real happiness in watching the rabbit play. He was experiencing this not through the camera, and not through the lens, not anything but through him, his own eyes, his own body. He was there, in the moment. He saw the world.
