Survived the Day with No Technology
What if we didn't have technology? What could happen or what was it like having no technology? I went a whole day without technology, not knowing if I was going to survive or not.
I attempted to go a whole day without any kind of technology, although I am attached to my phone all the time I was quite a bit scared. The world would be different if we didn't have any technology, technology is the way we communicate with others or know whats going on in the world. The world would be clueless with no technology.
I started off my day with no power, no electricity, phone dead, and the food in my fridge was not cold anymore.Although I was terrified I had to get in action right away, I opened all my windows, opened the curtains, did whatever was possible for me so it wouldn't be dark inside my home. I most definitely will lose my temper if I don't try and do something better about this. Affourtanally my water was still functioning, so I started to wash dishes to kill time. As I was washing the dishes I was looking outside the window no one was out there, no cars, no people, I guess I'm the only one that didn't evacuate. My phone has been dead for two days and the power has been out I did not know we were supposed to evacuate, there was no way I could’ve gotten any information with no technology I was concerned that I was just staring into space that I accidentally cut myself with the knife, I screamed loud as a red fox when they scream at night.
After I was in shock, despairing I didn't know what to do, the cut was so deep I needed help, I had no one, no one to call, no light, phone was dead. I had to think fast, I grabbed a shirt and wrapped it around my hand to stop the bleeding. Fortunately I had an emergency kit in my closet, I only had band-aids and alcohol. I knew I had to pour some alcohol on my hand which I was not ready for, I poured the alcohol all over my hand and it burned like hell. The cut was so deep I think I needed to get stitches, I really needed the help I had no one or anyone I could call.
Finally after I bided my time I heard someone knock on my door. I was so unforeseen I was not expecting that at all I got closer to the door and the knocking got louder I was scared to open the door. It was my sister, although I was still scared, I was happy to see someone. My sister comes in and starts yelling at me asking me “why are you still here??, are you crazy everyone evacuated but you, you need to come with us now!!”. We left my house and we got to a place where a lot of people were staying and getting help from the doctors. I was finally able to get the help I needed and the medical care, and finally I was able to eat and see my family.
