Resting near the window, the sun shines upon me,
Giving me the comfort I desire.
The comfort I need.
Without you,
I can’t make it.
I grow everyday with you.
The bright light you give is essential.
Stay with me.
Because without you,
How do I survive?
Abruptly,
I moved where you no longer smile at me.
The dark and morose room reflects a visage who never saw the sun.
But,
Without you,
Can I survive?
I can.
The low light is not warm to me.
But I am here.
I thought you, the sun, with your beaming smile, was a necessity.
I now know,
I can survive.
Because I am Monstera.
