As my weary mind lay at rest, 
it wanders to what I know best. 
It wanders to you, 
and all the things I wish we could do. 
 
Late nights lying awake,
taking you out on luxurious dates. 
Candle lit dinners at the breaking of day, 
picking you flowers, the children of May. 
 
Walking along the beaches with the warm, white sands. 
Living in the moment, your hand in my hand. 
Side by side, experiencing life together; 
Dancing in the rain at the advent of lousy weather. 
 
Sunny day picnics in a field of yellow flowers. 
Taking a trip to Paris to see the Eiffel tower. 
Watching fluffy white clouds float across the sky, 
to watching the fireworks displayed every fourth of July. 
  
For Valentine’s Day, it will be roses and chocolate, 
or a trip to see the solar system in our specially made rocket. 
We can catch fireflies on the warmest summer nights, 
or take a trip to Alaska to see the northern lights. 
 
What about Japan? We could see the cherry blossoms, 
or a vacation to Italy would be equally as awesome. 
Oh! but the Swiss Alps, what a sight to see! 
Or simply watching a movie and grabbing a bite to eat. 
 
I do not know much, but I know one thing is true, 
Heaven on earth is any place when I am with you.
