But still be within one,

When you can stand on your own foot,

While being somebody else’s root,

But when hungry, serve them bread,

But realize that even roses have thorns,

Pick them up and make your case.

It is YOU whom He sent as His dove,

When you can continue to live with peace,

When all around you start to cease,

When life throws you into your deepest fears,

Stand tall, be bold and shed no tears.

When you are betrayed by the once you trust,

Be like brass – don’t were on rust;

Greed, envy, pride, wrath, and lust,

Remember these shall take you to dust.

To lead a life of luxury, make no toil,

For ultimately, we shall all return to soil,

That you shall be immortal is a lie,

Only then above the highest clouds you will fly.
