Day and Night

Daytime is pleasing.

Commencing with dawn.

Nature blooms and you see fawns.

The world wakes up, ready for another day.

Little do they know, what is heading their way.

People look out the window and see the wind manipulate the trees.

In the hive, there are buzzing bees.

No one knows what the world actually sees.

Nighttime is pleasing,

And nice and calm.

As the stars twinkle in the night,

You think “What a beautiful sight.”

You look up at the man on the moon.

He tells you to fall asleep soon.

As you dream about tomorrow,

You wipe away all your sorrow.

This piece is an antonym poem that is about how daytime and nighttime are different, but still hold beauty and different characteristics. They differ, but in a way are still similar.
