Not Over
We often change desperately,
For our lives to pause momentarily,
Yet we start to think clearly,
That a change cannot be permanent.
We wasted our time being the main character,
Using our youth to surrender.
We wanted it to end,
Only for it to live in the dead.
We tried to be the idol,
To see ourselves in the middle.
Fell asleep in our conscious,
On our way to the Righteous.
When it’s time to carry on,
We will be gone.
We woke up for it to be over,
Then found ourselves older...
