How do I feel like me?
When the world is telling me who I love is wrong,
When my people are beaten in the streets,
Simply for holding hands,
When people closest to me have openly said slurs,
When I constantly have to hear about another trans person killed,
How when I hear my mom telling me she doesn't understand,
Or, when a teacher tells the entire class being LGBT+, is wrong.
How am I supposed to be me,
When everything about it feels wrong?

I've known I'm bisexual since I was 13, I'm now 17 and most people around me don't know. It's pride month so I thought this was fitting and I want other young people it's ok to be you. Never let anyone suppress you, always be you.
