Not ready to bear this child
Still a child myself
Why, if you have no uterus
Think you have a say
How will I raise a child
If I still need to learn things myself
I never wanted you to come home with me
Yet you’re telling me that doing this is a sin
But what about your actions?
Were my cries of “no” not enough
To make you aware of your sins?
I risk my life so that
I don’t bring this baby into
A world where a man tells women
What they cannot do with their bodies
