life came with small mercies, and a bruising grip that branded you.
you see life came with its small mercies.
it came with gasps of air and people that changed you. sometimes you met people who were destined to hurt you, to shatter the perception you have of life, and force you to make a new one if you could.
some people brought joy with them, they felt like little breaks to breathe and small breathes that eventually felt greedy.for how long until you drained them dry?
of their own breath. and you contaminated their air.
for you rotted, you flamed till the sickening clasp of hands around your throat felt familiar, and the second they left you dropped to ground breathing in lungfuls of air and it felt wrong.
and in the saddest way possible air felt, wrong. but perhaps things would heal? for you had your own air and the suffocating grip was gone, yes? but no.
you see we missed the grip, the burn, the lack of air. for it was something a little more then second nature, and a little less then extincts. and sadly enough despite the agonizing pain that flooded your senses back then, you wanted it back.
it was mind games, twisting your thoughts, and demolishing the idea of you caring or even thinking for yourself. it was two sides of you fighting to live, for what once was you, and who you were after.
it was trauma, and the course of thoughts that followed after. for someone broke you, and who were you to put yourself back together?
