Remember the soldiers who fought in the war.

They fought for unity, this we cannot ignore.

Courage, dedication, strength and bravery

Alive in their hearts for the pride of their country.

We wear the poppy as commemoration

For those who sacrificed their lives for their nation.

They endured suffering, bloodshed, and pain,

So no more tribulation would remain.

The soldiers had to leave their family;

 It was their job to fight for their country.

Their families lost whom they adored;

Such inspiring men and women they cared for.

Remember the soldiers who conquered strife.

They fought with determination, to save other’s lives.

They fought for their country and sought for peace;

Their presence in our hearts will never cease.
