Surrender
I am holding in all my emotions
Pushing them back while they want to be released
Every inch of my body covered with a thought that is trapped and contained
Trapped by my conceal
Trying so hard to surrender
But I keep fighting a war
That has no ending
Feeling a droplet run down my face
Then another one
And another one
A thunderstorm appears on my face
With no umbrella to contain the rain
I surrender

Hello, I am Kelly. I am from New Jersey. My poem is about how sadness overtakes you and sometimes it's hard to express it.
