The End is Near
Tick, tick, tick goes the old, worn clock at the top of the wall
Click, click, click goes the sound of the heels as the scurry down the hall
As the year begins to end, time in highschool goes soaring
Junior year is near and dear, as one can hear the kids roaring
Roaring in excitement and sadness, as summer is around the corner
But after this year of stress and new things, the students will become mourners
Mourning the loss of childhood as they quickly become women and the departure begins
Like school fish in the ocean, leaving one another and going for their last swims
“The end is near!” the seniors cry out with a cheer
As they prepare, with tears in their eyes, for their final year
