In the low orbit of a far off moon

Barraded by artillery day after day

Lie the fortresses of old Martha Denroon

Whos great golden days will soon pass away

True many years before, when her name was DeCore

All would look upon her ships with great woe

She had conquered and claimed, all her enemies defamed

Till there was no single soul left to foe

Many years passed since she stood at the mast

She would have nowhere to go all too soon,

As the thousands of ships surrounded her layer

The fortress of old martha denroon

It had been many months since the sun had been seen

Her soldiers grew weary, and battered and weak

But she would not give up, no she must not give up

As her soldiers cried out and her walls turned to mud

She rallied her men, one last time they shall go

Their sails were set with guns ready to blow

To the dazzling night from which none did go home

As their cannons blazed red they flew towards the horde

To their fiery fate as they raised high their code

The black flag of old Martha Denroon

Three days of battle are said to have passed

3 days of gunfire, and cannons a blast

Til every last ship, and every last man

Had been lost to the wind, held captive, or ran

But no body was found, and nobody has seen

A hair of the remains from the legend at sea

It is said she had gone, but no truth can be drawn

Some say that she sailed far into the dawn

Others say that she died at that far off moon

But we shall never know the case of old martha denroon
