My Forever Joy
I want to go back to my place of joy.
I want to play with my favorite toy,
And laugh in the park,
till it's dark.
I remember smiling and playing with my friends.
I remember hoping it never ends.
Playing tag,
Till they nag.
Being there was being home.
And being there I was never alone.
But time fly's,
And time dies.
I still will never forget the best days of my life.
I still will never forget when I felt alive.

This poem is about wanting to go back to when I was younger. It was a time with no worries and having fun. The last line means a lot to me, "I still will never forget when I felt alive". I struggle with feeling alive now and remembering how life used to always make me feel better.
