Something Missing
They sit there like rocks in a river
In the midst of despair
In the cold, they shiver
With no house to share
With their heads hanging low
No strength to fight
As the obnoxious wind blows
They think to themselves, one more night
If they had but one thing
That could make this right
Thousands of bells ring
And there they lie another night.

This poem is about orphans who have nowhere to go. They sit outside of the church every day hoping someone would come to claim them.
