Art is a very special part of me

Every time I paint, my soul is set free

I love to let my imagination run wild

I’ve been making art since I was a child

I use my hands to craft and paint

If I make one wrong move, I might just faint

When done for fun, it can be a relaxing pastime

But becomes very taxing when there is a deadline

Despite how long the art takes

I rarely feel the need for breaks

I never notice the time fly by

Even as I wait for the paint to dry

For art is something that can not be replaced

In this heart, it will not be erased

Art may not be a very special part of thee

But Art will always be a very special part of me
