Running
Dear Running,
You are a tough sport.
If you slack off
That shows,
If you put in the work
That shows.
Ever since I began
I knew I would fall in love with you.
The relationship I have
with you is a roller coaster
I have been pushed
To the limit
so many times.
Some days I want to give up.
But there are so many highs,
The rewarding feeling
When you succeed.
You have taught me
Suffering, how to be competitive,
And to never give up
No matter what holds you back.
