Pastiche
Covid. You have taken our hopes and dreams away. When you first came here, did you know that your outbreak would be this bad, this contagious, and have this lasting effect on us? When you arrived you made us feel alarmed, you made us feel anxious, you made us feel anger, and lastly, you made us feel afraid. You made our hearts pound like a drum when you first started your outbreak. Stop. We have done everything to make you leave, but you won’t. We have quarantined, we have worn masks, we have stayed six feet apart. What next? We just want to go back to normal and you won’t let us. We want to live freely… please.
