Tlick! Plit! Smack!
The April Rain has come.
Little toes of water
And little eyes of sprites
Call your name
To join them
In their fall to the green.
The wind moans to the trees.
They join the dance and shake their leaves
The thunder booms to the sky
And the clouds pirouette
But the lightning cackles at those
Who do not join.
