Hard times have gotten us here 

We made it so far we can start to fear

Chicago is my hometown 

Feels like nothing ever goes wrong

Happiness awakes 

While my depression fades 

Family gathering 

And we’re all laughing 

Is the best feeling 

Of feeling secure

Halfway there our adrenaline is rising 

While we're here no negativity is surrounding me 

On our way back hoping we stayed longer 

¨Weŕe back¨, as the arguing started to slither 

Boom! Back to the routine

Nobody cares 

but, everyone wants your attention

Nobody will even listen

But, everybody wants my help

Nobody wants to talk

But, everybody wants my opinion

Nobody cares until they see the scars on my body 

Now they ask what's wrong?

But all along I just needed that one conversation

Being alone never ends well
