Last year of high school

Can not wait to graduate

I still have friends here at school

Which makes me sad that I will be leaving them

But, I know that my friends and I will keep talking

There are things I won’t miss 

There are things I won’t miss

But, it is another step forward to being free from school

I already have a job

So, I don’t have to worry about finding work

I will miss a couple of teachers that I have had over the years

I am nervous and excited

I am nervous about what will happen after I graduate

But, I am excited that I will not have to attend school

I think it will feel weird not seeing the same faces I am used to seeing 5 days a week

I know I will get used to it though

I wonder if I will change after I leave high school

I don’t think I will

But, who knows what will happen

A lot of things could happen

I’m not going to worry about it for right now

I want to finish out the year strong

My one wish is to have straight A’s before I leave

I hope I can make this wish come true

That is the same wish I have been wishing for 4 years

But, I think this will be the year I make that wish come true

There will be some classes I will miss taking

I will miss teacher’s that have impacted my life in a positive way

Those teacher’s I will miss

But, I hope I can visit when I can

If I will be allowed to visit

I have had some ups and downs this year

Some I don’t remember

Some I wish I could not remember

But, once I graduate I can put those things behind me

I will miss my friends that still attend high school

I think that is probably a common feeling everyone has their senior year

Can’t wait to see what the future holds for me

Hope I can stay strong now and in the future
