Open to people who try
Unified and not petty
Not always accessible because it is so high
They warn you of the risks
And you don’t care
Inside you know you climb because it exists
Not only do you have to climb you also need to prepare.

I made this poem thinking about Everest and its mystery and story. On one of the lines of my acrostic poem I referenced a line of the poem to George Mallory's famous words "Because it's there."
