My Big Day
It was a breezy, fall day
I was about 11 years of age
The kids had all gathered to play
So let me set the stage.
It was my time to shine
The bases were set up
And the kids stood in line
The outfielders ran amuck.
The ball came rolling
And with a mighty force,
I went strolling
It was a homerun!

I am a kid who grew up in a small neighborhood ot apartments, for fun the neighborhood kids would gather outside and play kickball, basketball, baseball etc. On this specific day I hit a homerun for the first time in kick ball. I became accepted into the older group.
