Reach For The Future
Do you ever wonder what life will be like in 20 years?
How many things are going to change?
Who will you still be close with?
Who your friends are going to be?
Do you ever sit down and consider that your life right now is so special?
Do you ever begin to think about how lucky you are right now, to have what you have?
Because if you don’t,
You should.
Life is slowly going to change.
So slowly you won’t even realize things are changing.
You won’t even notice how many people are you aren’t close anymore,
How many family members you have left.
You won’t be able to see your life changing until it’s too late.
That’s why,
You have to live every moment like it is the last time.
You have to go through each day acting like it is and is going to be the best day ever.
Now that you get older and older,
Don’t cancel on those Sunday dinners with your family.
Don’t mess out on putting the Christmas decorations up around the house,
Or staying in and watching movies.
Don’t miss out on those birthday lunches,
Or your friendsgiving.
Don’t put your life on hold,
Or wallow in the sadness that you feel is consuming you.
Because one day,
All of the sadness will vanish,
And you’re going to look back on all the things you missed.
Don’t look back on life with regrets.
Spend that time with family and friends.
Go out and explore the world with your happiness.
Love every second of your life.
And cherish those times.
Because one day,
You will have responsibilities and kids and a job.
And you should live the rest of your life knowing,
That you lived it well.
