Rain is the usher of sadness

Have we ever found “happy” in the rain?

The rain

Thats why

We stay inside

To hide

But sometimes we have to go watch

In the rain

As if the sadness throughout town is not

Enough

The rain in which we are all standing in

Praying,crying, living,

Waiting for the train,

Carrying the hopes and dreams of

America

Through the rain

Laying a legend,

To rest,

He deserves rest

But thats what everyone does

When it rains

It pours on the tracks and the rails make a squeak

As the Union Pacific passes

Old Glory is flying from every hand

Time stands still in its passing

In his passing,

We know where the train is heading

Laying ‘41 in the ground

In the rainy town

Of College Station Texas
