Dear Caroline
Don’t tell anyone else
But you're my favorite cousin
You give me rides
When my mom doesn’t
I can’t express
The amount of gratitude I have for you
You have made my life
Bright Yellow instead of dark blue
Thank you for all the memories
That we can now share forever
I could not have asked for a better person
To hang out with literally whenever
Your spirit and positivity inspire me
And you are my best friend
You make me better every day
And I will love you until the end
So thank you for making me laugh
Even though you don’t have to try
The best part of being family
Is that I will never ever have to say goodbye

This poem is about my cousin Caroline. She is my best friend, and she deserves to have these kind words spoken about her.
