Imagine no emotions

In anyone through the world.

How life would be so bland

And how our thoughts would be so furled.

No way to express

How you really feel

No one to know if you're happy

Or if you need to heal.

Imagine no happiness

No laughs or no smiles

No joyous times with friends

Just a life that is so vile.

Imagine no sadness

Oh how great would that be

No reason to mourn,

No tears for people to see.

Imagine only blank faces

Our lives would be so boring

But think on the good side,

No emotions that need restoring.

Imagine the things we’d lose

Without ways to express ourselves

No social lives, no motivation

Like empty boxes sitting on shelves.

Imagine our thoughts,

And how we would be compressed

To just what's on the outside

And how we were dressed.

Imagine the world

With no emotional connections.

No reason to do anything,

Us just sitting as blank projections.

Imagine we all

Learn to love our emotion

How we would be so great

And not living in corrosion.
