I sit and wonder what life would look like if my mom hadn't had cancer

I sit and wonder what life would be like if covid didn't exist

I sit and wonder how lucky I am for my mom to be over cancer

I sit and wonder how unlucky we were to hear the news

Not only did she have cancer, but it was during the covid era

I sit and wonder why my mom

She is the nicest

The most caring person I have ever met

My heart aches for her

She didn't deserve cancer at all

No one deserves cancer

I sit and wonder why the best people are diagnosed with the worst issues

We have been taught all our lives that good things come to good people

So I sit and wonder why bad things happen to good people
