Peaceful life
Oh, If only my life was more like when I was 8
I felt like I was on the top of the world.
When I could play all day.
I thought everything was perfect,
and there was no wrong in the world.
I hoped to have fun and lived everyday, day by day
I watched basketball games and played on the Wii
I listened to whatever was on the radio
I enjoyed playing sports and being outside.
Playing tag and Hide and Seek at night.
I spent time with friends and family because I had no commitments.
No school or homework.
I wanted to become a basketball player someday.
Whatever happened to the time,
the free time,
the time isn't disappearing rather going to more “Important” things.
