Children of the Dark
They can only speak in tongues
Not breathing, there’s nothing in their lungs.
My clouded eyes sip on the stars
Theirs see beyond mars.
Their far cries come from an echoless voice.
They speak it mindlessly, without a choice.
Constantly degraded
Long gone, sanity has faded
They find comfort in tears
It’s a suppressor of fears
They feel no one truly cares
That is why we only get vacant stares.
