Between us
When you become friends with someone, you wish for nothing to be kept between the two of you, but my best friend changed my mind.
Her hair- like silky, soft sheets. Her eyes, like the salty ocean waves. But her Faith, stronger than the boulder that once tried to crush her spirits. It was God between us, His voice guiding us through our troubles.
Together we built a bond that only He would interfere with. Together we taught each other so much, even as 16-year-olds. But His eternal love for us gave infinite wisdom and knowledge.
His bond with her is addicting. She stamped her strength into my soul and helped me grow my own bond with God. The three of us, here to guide each other, making us even closer.
Only then did He help me realize what her name really meant. “Sophie, strong and selfless, the one with Faith and Wisdom.”
Thank you God, for giving me the best friend I could ask for; for giving us an eternal bond you keep between us.

The most emotional piece I've written; this has helped me strengthen my bond with a greater power, and my friend who I wrote this about.
