Grandma
I can still remember when
we would sit at your house
and watch you play ninetendo
and eat McDonald’s.
I can still remember when
we had that yard sale
in your front yard
and I had to help set up.
I can still remember when
you yelled at daddy and I
because we took Fred’’s money
and bought McDonald’s
and drop his on the way there.
I can still remember when
Daddy, Amber, and I
took you to the hospital that day.
I can still remember when
Amber and I fell asleep
in the hospital chairs,
waiting on you to come out
but you never did.
