To This, My Father
I’ve been cheated,
I’ve lived lies that I was told were true.
But that will never be enough for you.
 I’ve learned for you,
 I have cried for you,
there is nothing that I wouldn’t do for you.
 But you go on,
 while I stand here.
I’m waiting for you,
just waiting for your hand to reach mine,
But that day will never come.
Im lost, stranded, stuck in the past,
 because when I lost you,
 I lost my innocence,
 my sanity.
and nothing can compare to this pain.
 I still breath for you,
 I live for you,
and I have smiled for you.
 I am apart of you,
I am one made from love,
 derived from lust.
 Created from clay,
 and sculpted from society.
 I’ve been f***ed over enough.
 I am your daughter.
To this, I give to you,
 I lost you,
 I love you.
 To this, my father.
